Men’s Prayer Group
The men’s small group gathers for fellowship and prayer each week in the church dining room. Their prayers are for our congregation both individually and corporately as well as concerns for "neighbors" within our community and throughout the world. Wednesday 6:00-7:00am in the church dining room.
Prayer Team
We believe prayer is vital to sustain the Christian life, both personally and collectively. A prayer chain is activated when a member calls the church with a specific, often confidential, prayer request. Prayer cards in the pews allow you to share a prayer request with the congregation on Sunday mornings. Call June Stoltz, 469.4075, if you would like to join the prayer chain or desire a prayer for yourself or others.
60/60
The 60/60 Club was founded in 1939, and has evolved over the years to bocome a tradition at First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn. The tradition is based on a mutual sharing of roles and responsibilities throughout the Club membership.
What's in the name? The name "60/60" means that members give an extra effort for church, family, friends and the community. Doing more than 50/50 - more than expected. Call the church office 630.469.3510 for information about the meetings.
TANDEM
A group of adult couples and singles pulling together in "Tandem" to promote friendship and a spirit of fellowship among its members. This group meets socially for entertainment, spirituality and food on the 1st Friday from October through June at Noon. Meetings include a catered lunch and diverse programs.
RAMBO
(Retired Active Men's Breakfast Organization)
A group of retired men who meet at the church each month to share breakfast, fellowship, and prayer.
